Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel

You can cancel at any time before the appointment starts. No account is needed: open the link in your confirmation email or text message.

If you cancel, the amount you paid is not refunded. The doctor held that time for you and did not offer it to anyone else.

Cancel anyway: the time then goes back to another patient who needs it.

If the doctor cancels

If the doctor cancels, or the appointment does not happen because of the doctor, you are refunded in full. You do not have to do or write anything.

You get an email about it with a link to choose another time.

If you do not turn up

If you neither join the call nor cancel, the appointment counts as held and there is no refund.

If a technical fault stopped you - the call would not open, the video did not work - write to atbalsts@emd.lv within 48 hours. We check the connection log and refund you if the fault was ours.

When the money is back in your account

We send the refund the same day it is agreed. The money goes back to the card you paid with.

Your bank usually takes 3 to 5 working days. Some banks show the amount later than it was sent.

If there is nothing after 7 working days, write to atbalsts@emd.lv with the date of the appointment.

How to cancel

Open your confirmation email or text message and press the link to your appointment.

Press Cancel appointment and confirm. No password is asked for.

The doctor is notified immediately and you get a confirmation by email.
